In order to join a Credit Union the member must be in the field of membership by a common bond.

• IBEW Local 26, IBEW Local 70, SMW Local 100, IUEC Local 10, Heat & Frost Insulators, Asbestos Workers Local 24, Contractors and employees of contractors who have signed agreements with above listed Unions.
• Family members are also eligible to join. Family members include your spouse, children, parents, brothers, sisters, grandchildren, and grandparents.

To open an account contact the Credit Union office and a membership card will be sent to your home or office. Return the membership card with a check or money order in the amount of $5.00 made payable to IBEW 26 FCU and a copy of a valid Drivers License.

Important information about procedures for opening a new account:

To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies all persons (primary and joint owners) who open an account.

What this means for you, when you open an account, we will ask for your name(s), address, date of birth and other information that will allow us to identify you and any owners of the account. We may also ask to see your driver’s license or other identifying documents.
